Sierra de Albarracin
The mountains are waiting for you. Visit the small city of Albarracin with its ancient houses and the castle, learn  the  local traditions.The local architecture is charming with its red brick houses ("Casa de la Julianeta).
You can also enjoy the typical food of the area:
"migas" garlic soup, "cordero a la pastora"...
In the mountains you can go cycling, hunting, fishing, horse riding, and visit the caves (6000-1500 BC) at the "Parque natural de Albarracin"


Teruel de capital city

Teruel is the capiltal city of the province.The most important monuments are:
-The Cathedral
-Torres Mudéjares
-Plaza del torico
-Amantes de Teruel.
If you want to taste something from the region you hould try Ham. Frutas de Aragón, almonds, sauasages and sweets.




Laguna de Gallocanta
The Lagoon of Gallocanta has 536 km2 and it is at the bottom of a hollow.
It is a salty pond whose salt density can be up to 105 grames per litre. In the south part of the pond there are areas with prairies and rushes which conform smaller salty ponds like "Poyo" "Avetoro" and "Hondo".
In the refuge you can get interesting information, with the help of pictures, about the history of the pond. Take a bus from there and visi the area and if it is spring don't miss watching the cranes !!. Visit the "Ermita del buen Recuerdo" and its birds museum.

Parque natural la Dehesa del Moncayo
Near Zaragoza you can visit the Natural park of the Dehesa del Moncayo, which take its name from the Mocayo, the highest peak of the Cordiellera Iberica, the chain of mountains which runs the Nort East of Spain. In it you can see a great variety of trees, like pines, being the most important the beech trees. You can visit the Monaterio de Veruela (cisterciense monastery) and the city of Tarazona with its important Cathedral and Jewish city centre

  Monegros: a trip in the desert.
Monegros is an esteperian subdesertic echosystem dued to deforestation. You can enjoy a weekend in the desert without leaving Europe.
Go to Tardienta and hire the camels, go and explore the area, and finally enjoy an arab meal. In the afternoon you can hire a quad and visit San Caprasio's caves. In the evening go to the jaima and enjoy an arab evening.
For those who like adventure you can hire an ultra lifght plane and have a flight with a tutor.

Huesca: the capital city:
when you visit Huesca you must visit the Cathedral, the town hall with its famous painting:"La campana de Huesca" by Casado del Alisal.St Peter, st Lawrence,
and St domingo's churches, the park and the Plaza de navarra in the city centre.
